English Translation

Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Abu Rabi'ah narrated to us, from Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When Allah afflicts a Muslim servant with an ailment in his body, He says to the angel: 'Record for him the good deeds that he used to do.' If He heals him, He washes and purifies him, and if He takes his soul, He forgives him and shows mercy to him."
