English Translation
Husayn narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn al-Mukhtar who said: I heard Musa ibn Anas, and perhaps we both sat with him, and he was among our youth, younger than me in age, narrating from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ said: "No people go astray after having been guided except that they are given argumentation." Then he recited: "They did not present it to you except for the sake of argument. Rather, they are a quarrelsome people." [Al-Zukhruf 43:58]
