English Translation

Husayn narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Anas who said: The head of al-Husayn (رضي الله عنه) was brought to Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad and placed in a basin. He began poking at it with a stick and said something about his beauty. Anas said: "He was the most resembling of people to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. His hair was dyed with wasmah (a dark plant dye)."
