حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَرَادَ بَنُو سَلِمَةَ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلُوا عَنْ مَنَازِلِهِمْ إِلَى قُ
رْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَكَرِهَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَعْرَى الْمَدِينَةُ فَقَالَ يَا بَنِي سَلِمَةَ أَلَا تَحْتَسِبُونَ آثَارَكُمْ

English Translation
Abdullah ibn Bakr narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from Anas who said: Banu Salimah wanted to move from their homes to be near the mosque. the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ disliked for Madinah to become deserted, so he said: "O Banu Salimah, do you not consider that your steps are recorded?" So they remained in their places.
