English Translation
Abdullah ibn Bakr narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from Anas who said: Whenever we wished to see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying at night, we would see him; and whenever we wished to see him sleeping, we would see him. He used to fast continuously in a month until we would say: 'He will not break his fast this month.' And he would break his fast until we would say: 'He will not fast this month.'
