حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلّ

َى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِيمَتَيْنِ لَيْسَ فِيهِمَا خُبْزٌ وَلَا لَحْمٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ فِيهِمَا قَالَ الْحَيْسُ

English Translation

Nuh ibn Maymun narrated to us, Abdullah, meaning al-Umari, informed us, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Anas ibn Malik who said: I attended two wedding feasts of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that had neither meat nor bread in them. They were not like any other wedding feasts.
