English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, he said: I heard Thabit narrating from Anas ibn Malik who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the bravest of people, the most handsome of people, and the most generous of people. The people of Madinah were alarmed one night, and the people went toward the sound. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met them, already having gone ahead of them to investigate. He was on a bare-backed horse of Abu Talhah and had a sword hung from his neck. He said: "Do not be afraid, do not be afraid." He said: "I found it to be swift" — or: "It is the sea."
