حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ

يَسْتَفْتِحُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقِرَاءَةَ قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَتَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ

English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah said: I asked Anas ibn Malik: 'With what did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ begin the recitation?' He said: 'You are asking me about something no one has asked me about. He used to begin the recitation with Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-Alamin.'
