حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّه
ُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ يَعْنِي أُصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ فِي قَصَصِهِ كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فَلَا أَدْرِي أَذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَمْ قَالَهُ قَتَادَةُ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us; and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah say: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I was sent and the Hour like these two" — and he joined his index and middle fingers together.
