حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْ

بَةَ وَهِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَلَا فَأْلَ قَالَ قِيلَ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us; and Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet ﷺ. Waki' narrated to us, from Shu'bah and Hisham, from Qatadah, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "When the Isha prayer is called and dinner is served, begin with dinner."
