قَتَادَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُونَ ثُمَّ يُصَلُّونَ وَلَا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: The Companions of the Prophet ﷺ used to sleep and then pray without performing wudu. Meaning: they would doze while sitting and then pray without repeating their wudu.
