حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَسُرَيْجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ بِقَدْرِ مَا يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى بَنِي حَارِثَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَيَرْجِعُ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ وَبِقَدْرِ مَا يَنْحَرُ الرَّجُلُ الْجَزُورَ وَيُبَعِّضُهَا لِغُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي الْجُمُعَةَ حِينَ تَمِيلُ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالشَّجَرَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
English Translation
Yunus and Surayj narrated to us, they said Fulayh narrated to us, from Uthman ibn Abd ar-Rahman, that Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the Asr prayer at a time when a person could go to Banu Amr ibn Awf and arrive there while the sun was still high.
