حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَج
ُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا وَيْحَكَ أَوْ وَيْلَكَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abu Qatan narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon a man driving a sacrificial camel (badanah). He said, 'Ride it.' The man said, 'It is a sacrificial camel.' He said, 'Ride it.' The man said again, 'It is a sacrificial camel.' He ﷺ said, 'Ride it, woe to you!' — on the second or third time.
