Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ
Body (Matn)
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ قُلْتُ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah informed me that he heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no contagion and no evil omen, but I am pleased by a good omen.' They said: 'What is a good omen?' He said: 'A good word.'
