حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ وَأُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ السَّاعَةِ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا فَإِنَّهَا قَائِمَةٌ قَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْت
ُ لَهَا كَثِيرَ عَمَلٍ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ قَالَ فَمَا فَرِحَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ بِشَيْءٍ بَعْدَ الْإِسْلَامِ مَا فَرِحُوا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ فَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَقُولُ فَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that a man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the Hour, and the prayer was called. When he finished his prayer, he said: 'Where is the one who asked about the Hour?' The man said: 'Here I am, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'What have you prepared for it?' The man said: 'I have not prepared much prayer or fasting for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger.' He said: 'You will be with those whom you love.' Anas said: Nothing made us happier after Islam than the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: 'You will be with those whom you love.'
