أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَهُوَ يَسْلِتُ الدِّمَاءَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ كَيْفَ يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ شَجُّوا وَجْهَ نَبِيِّهِمْ وَكَسَرُوا رَبَاعِيَتَهُ وَهُوَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنْ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ }

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit informed us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of Uhud, while wiping the blood from his face: 'How can a people prosper who wounded the face of their Prophet and broke his tooth while he was calling them to Allah?' Then Allah (عز وجل) revealed: 'Not for you is the decision' [3:128].
