English Translation

Abdullah narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Bahz narrated to us, Hammad — meaning Ibn Salamah — narrated to us, he said: Shu'ayb ibn al-Habhab and Abd al-Aziz ibn Suhayb informed us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah during the conquest wearing a helmet on his head. When he removed it, a man came to him and said: 'Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah.' He said: 'Kill him.'
