حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْن

ِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ بَايَعْنَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ

English Translation
Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, Abu Awanah informed us, from Abu Bishr, from Sulayman ibn Qays, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) who said: We pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) under the tree — the pledge of al-Ridwan — and we did not pledge to die but rather pledged not to flee.
