‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ‏ ‏وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ ‏ ‏قَالَا أَنَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنِي ‏ ‏أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ‏ ‏جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏خَرَصَهَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ ‏ ‏أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ ‏ ‏وَسْقٍ ‏ ‏وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ ‏ ‏الْيَهُودَ ‏ ‏لَمَّا خَيَّرَهُمْ ‏ ‏ابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ ‏ ‏أَخَذُوا الثَّمَرَ وَعَلَيْهِمْ عِشْرُونَ أَلْفَ ‏ ‏وَسْقٍ ‏

English Translation

Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) say: Ibn Rawahah estimated the dates at forty thousand wasq, and when the Jews of Khaybar chose to take the dates, they took twenty thousand wasq.
