حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ مُحَارِبُ بْنُ دِثَارٍ أَخْبَرَن
ِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَهْلَهُ طُرُوقًا أَوْ قَالَ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَهُ طُرُوقًا

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Hajjaj both (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that shu'bah narrated to us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) — and 'Affan narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, Muharib ibn Dithar informed me that he heard Jabir — say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'For every disease there is a remedy. When the remedy is applied to the disease, it is cured by the permission of Allah (عز وجل).'
