‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏سُفْيَانُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَابِرٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏بَاعَ ‏ ‏الْمُدَبَّرَ ‏

English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما) that the Prophet ﷺ sold the mudabbar [a slave promised freedom upon the master's death].
