English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us — and 'Abd al-Razzaq said: Sufyan informed us — from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you eats food, let him not wipe his hand on a cloth until he licks it or has it licked, for indeed he does not know in which part of his food the blessing lies.'
