Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ
قَالَ أَبِي وَقَضَى بِهِ عَلِيٌّ بِالْعِرَاقِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ كَانَ أَبِي قَدْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ وَلَمْ يُوَافِقْ أَحَدٌ الثَّقَفِيَّ عَلَى جَابِرٍ فَلَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى قَرَأَهُ عَلَيَّ وَكَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ هُوَ صَحَّ

English Translation
'Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ judged with an oath along with a single witness. Ja'far said: My father said: 'Ali also judged with this in Iraq.' He said: 'This is the Sunnah.'
