قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَهْبٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى أَنَّ نَافِعًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاح
ٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ بَاعَ عَبْدًا وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَلَهُ مَالُهُ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنُهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ إِلَى هَاهُنَا وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي وَالْبَاقِي سَمَاعٌ

English Translation
'Abdullah said: I found in my father's book: al-Hakam ibn Musa informed us — 'Abdullah said: and al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to us — Yahya ibn Hamzah narrated to us, from Abu Wahb, from Sulayman ibn Musa, that Nafi' narrated to him, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ, and from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: 'Present your gifts to one another, for a gift removes the rancor of the chest.'
