Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَال

ُوا يَوْمُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَأَيُّ شَهْرٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَالُوا شَهْرُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَأَيُّ بَلَدٍ أَعْظَمُ حُرْمَةً قَالُوا بَلَدُنَا هَذَا قَالَ فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا

English Translation

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during his Hajj: 'Which day has the greatest sanctity?' They said: 'This day of ours.' He said: 'Which month has the greatest sanctity?' They said: 'This month of ours.' He said: 'Which land has the greatest sanctity?' They said: 'This land of ours.' He said: 'Indeed, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you as sacred as this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Have I conveyed [the message]?'
