English Translation

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما), who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, last night I saw in a dream as if my neck was struck and my head fell off. I followed it, picked it up, and put it back.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you sees a dream, let him not tell the people about Shaytan's play with him in his sleep.'
