حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ

عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعٍ نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik, from 'Ata', from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "We used to perform tamattu' with the Prophet ﷺ, and we would slaughter a cow on behalf of seven people, sharing in it."
