حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ جَابِرٍ قَال
َ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَارُّ مِنْ الطَّاعُونِ كَالْفَارِّ مِنْ الزَّحْفِ وَالصَّابِرُ فِيهِ كَالصَّابِرِ فِي الزَّحْفِ

English Translation
Abu 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Jabir narrated to me, he said: 'I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The one who flees from the plague is like the one who flees from battle (in the path of Allah). And the one who remains patiently in the plague has the reward of a martyr.'"'
