English Translation

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Nadrah, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "There were two mut'ahs (temporary concessions) that were practiced during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, then 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) prohibited us from them, so we ceased." Meaning: the mut'ah of Hajj (tamattu') and the mut'ah of women (temporary marriage).
