حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ س
َعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ فَآخُذُ قَبْضَةً مِنْ حَصًى فِي كَفِّي لِتَبْرُدَ حَتَّى أَسْجُدَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ

English Translation
Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, 'Abbad ibn 'Abbad narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Sa'id ibn al-Harith al-Ansari, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: "I used to pray Dhuhr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then go to my people in the upper part of Madinah while the sun was still hot." In one narration: "I would go to my camels and make them kneel (the sun was still up)."
