‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏جَعْفَرٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِيهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَابِرٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏الْبُدْنَ ‏ ‏الَّتِي ‏ ‏نَحَرَ ‏ ‏رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَتْ مِائَةَ ‏ ‏بَدَنَةٍ ‏ ‏نَحَرَ ‏ ‏بِيَدِهِ ثَلَاثًا وَسِتِّينَ ‏ ‏وَنَحَرَ ‏ ‏عَلِيٌّ ‏ ‏مَا ‏ ‏غَبَرَ ‏ ‏وَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏مِنْ كُلِّ ‏ ‏بَدَنَةٍ ‏ ‏بِبَضْعَةٍ فَجُعِلَتْ فِي قِدْرٍ ثُمَّ شَرِبَا مِنْ مَرَقِهَا ‏

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Maymun narrated to us, Ja'far narrated to me, from his father, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه): "The sacrificial camels that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered were one hundred. He slaughtered sixty-three with his own hand, and 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) slaughtered the rest."
