English Translation
Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed (from Muzdalifah) with tranquility upon him (sakinah). He urged his mount quickly through the valley of Muhassir. He showed them pebbles the size of date stones (khadhf) and commanded them to throw the like of those, and he said: 'O people, do not be extreme in the religion, for those before you were destroyed by their extremism in the religion.'"
