Hadith #92

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ وَأَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَخْرُجُ أَرْبَعَةٌ
مِنْ النَّارِ قَالَ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ أَرْبَعَةٌ قَالَ ثَابِتٌ رَجُلَانِ فَيُعْرَضُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ثُمَّ يُؤْمَرُ بِهِمَا إِلَى النَّارِ قَالَ فَيَلْتَفِتُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْ رَبِّ قَدْ كُنْتُ أَرْجُو إِذَا أَخْرَجْتَنِي مِنْهَا أَنْ لَا تُعِيدَنِي فِيهَا فَيُنْجِيهِ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Thabit and Abu Imran al-Jawni informed us, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Four will come out of the Fire.' Abu Imran said: They will be presented to Allah, and He will look at them and command that they be returned to the Fire. One of them will look back and say: 'O my Lord, I had hoped that when You took me out of it, You would not return me to it.' So Allah will save him from it.
