حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ فِي عَق
ْلِهَا شَيْءٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي حَاجَةً فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ انْظُرِي إِلَى أَيِّ الطَّرِيقِ شِئْتِ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا يُنَاجِيهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that a woman who had some mental impairment said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a need from you.' He said: 'O Umm so-and-so, choose whichever path you wish, and I will attend to your need there.' So he stood with her privately in the road until she finished speaking about her need.
