حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّهُ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى لَا تُمْطِرَ السَّمَاءُ وَلَا تُنْبِتَ الْأَرْضُ وَحَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً الْقَيِّمُ الْوَاحِدُ وَحَتَّى أَنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ لَتَمُرُّ بِالْبَعْلِ فَيَن
ْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا فَيَقُولُ لَقَدْ كَانَ لِهَذِهِ مَرَّةً رَجُلٌ ذَكَرَهُ حَمَّادٌ مَرَّةً هَكَذَا وَقَدْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَشُكُّ فِيهِ وَقَدْ قَالَ أَيْضًا عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَحْسِبُ

English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas (رضي الله عنه) who said: We used to say that the Hour would not come until the sky stops raining, the earth stops producing, there would be one man to look after fifty women, and a woman passing by a man would come and look at his shoe and say: 'This man once had a family.'
