حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ
لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ فَيَنْزِلُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَيَقُولُ أَمِيرُهُمْ تَعَالَ صَلِّ بِنَا فَيَقُولُ لَا إِنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ أَمِيرٌ لِيُكْرِمَ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ

English Translation
Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) — that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'A group from my ummah will continue fighting for the truth, prevailing until the Day of Resurrection.' He said: 'Then Isa ibn Maryam عليه السلام will descend, and their commander will say: Come and lead us in prayer. He will say: No, some of you are commanders over others, as an honor from Allah to this ummah.'
