حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى وَحَسَنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَسَنٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ وَقَالَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرًا عَنْ مِيثَرَةٍ قَالَ الْأُرْجُوَانِ فَقَالَ جَابِرٌ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَرْكَبُهَا وَلَا أَلْبَسُ قَمِيصًا مَكْفُوفًا بِحَرِيرٍ وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْقَسِّيَّ

English Translation
Musa and Hasan narrated to us, they said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us — Hasan said in his narration: Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us — and Ibn Lahi'ah said: from Abu al-Zubayr — that he asked Jabir about a saddle cushion. He said: The red-purple (al-urjuwan). He said: We came back from a journey and Jabir said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I do not ride on it, nor do I wear a shirt hemmed with silk. Indeed, whoever wore silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.'
