English Translation
Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) — that al-Nu'man ibn Qawqal came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, do you see that if I pray the obligatory prayers, fast Ramadan, treat the lawful as lawful and the unlawful as unlawful, and do nothing beyond that — will I enter Paradise?' He said: 'Yes.' He [al-Nu'man] said: 'By Allah, I will add nothing beyond that.'
