Chain of Narration (Isnad)
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ وَالْإِنَاءُ عَلَى يَدِهِ لِيَشْرَبَ مِنْهُ فَيَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ قَالَ جَابِرٌ كُنَّا نُحَدَّثُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Body (Matn)
قَالَ لِيَشْرَبْ
English Translation
And with the same chain of narration, he said: I asked Jabir about a man who intends to fast and has a vessel in his hand to drink from, then he hears the call [to Fajr prayer]. Jabir said: We were told that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Let him drink.'
