حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ حَرَّتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ لَا يُقْطَعُ مِنْهَا شَجَرَةٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يَعْلِفَ الرَّجُلُ بَعِيرَهُ
English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه): "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared sacred what is between the two lava fields (harratay) of Madinah — its trees should not be cut, and its game should not be hunted."
