English Translation

Rawh narrated to us, Zakariyya narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited nabidh made in earthenware jars, in pitch-coated vessels, in gourds, and in hollowed-out tree trunks. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have nabidh made for him in a water-skin, and if they did not have a water-skin, it would be made for him in a stone vessel.
