Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَم
َّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا حَرُمَتْ عَلَيَّ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ حِسَابُهُمْ أَوْ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Aswad narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) who raised the hadith [to the Prophet ﷺ] who said: 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: There is no god but Allah. When they say it, their blood and wealth become inviolable to me, and their reckoning is with Allah عز وجل.'
