English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us, Sa'id — meaning Ibn Abi 'Arubah — narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Khalil, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith al-Hashimi, from Hakim ibn Hizam (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The two parties to a sale have the option (to cancel) as long as they have not separated. If they are truthful and transparent, their transaction is blessed. But if they conceal defects and lie, the blessing of their transaction is erased.'
