حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أَخْبَرَنِي ر

َجُلٌ ثِقَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَحْمُ الصَّيْدِ حَلَالٌ لِلْمُحْرِمِ مَا لَمْ يَصِدْهُ أَوْ يُصَدْ لَهُ

English Translation

Surayj narrated to us, Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, a trustworthy man from Banu Salimah informed me, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The meat of hunted game is lawful for you while you are in the state of ihram, as long as you did not hunt it yourselves or have it hunted for you.'
