‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سُفْيَانَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏مَنْصُورٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ أَبْزَى ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّاحَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ‏

English Translation

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Abu Sa'id al-Khuza'i, from Ibn Abza, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to point with his index finger during the prayer.
