'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Hasan ibn Musa both said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Uthman ibn Talhah, that the Prophet ﷺ entered the House [the Ka'bah] and prayed two rak'ahs. When he came out, he prayed two rak'ahs facing the Ka'bah and said: 'This is the qiblah.'
