Hadith #213

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَرَوْحٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى السَّائِبِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ السَّائِبِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ رُكْنَيْ بَنِي جُمَحَ وَالرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ { رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ }
English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq and Rawh both said: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, and Ibn Bakr said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, Yahya ibn 'Ubayd, freed slave of al-Sa'ib, narrated to me that his father informed him that 'Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite between the Yamani Corner and the Black Stone: 'Rabbana atina fi al-dunya hasanah wa fi al-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhab al-nar' (Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire) [2:201].
