Hadith #224
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ يَقُولُ لَا يُقْتَلُ قُرَشِيٌّ صَبْرًا بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ الْإِسْلَامُ أَحَدًا مِنْ عُصَاةِ قُرَيْشٍ غَيْرَ مُطِيعٍ وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ عَاصِي فَسَمَّاهُ مُطِيعًا يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Zakariyya, 'Amir narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muti', from his father, that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of the Conquest of Makkah: 'No Qurayshi shall be killed while bound after today until the Day of Resurrection.'
