حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضَمْرَة

َ الْفَزَارِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ قَالَ أَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ وَالْقُدُورُ تَفُورُ بِهَا فَكَفَأْنَاهَا عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا

English Translation

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Ibn Ishaq, 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn Damrah al-Fazari narrated to me, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Salit, from his father Abu Salit who said: 'The prohibition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reached us on the day of Khaybar: to eat the meat of domesticated donkeys while the pots were boiling with it. So we turned the pots upside down.'
