English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, al-Harith ibn Yazid narrated to me, from Abu Mus'ab who said: 'An elderly man from the people of Madinah arrived, and they noticed he was well-equipped in his provisions. They asked him, and he informed them that he intended to go to the Maghrib [west]. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Soon a fitrah (trial) will occur. The one sitting is better than the one standing, and the one standing is better than the one walking, and the one walking is better than the one running. So when it occurs, whoever has camels, let him join his camels; and whoever has sheep, let him join his sheep; and whoever has land, let him go to his land."'
